On October 28-29 2000 the session, making a decision to organize the all-Ukrainian religious association - council of Native Ukrainian Belief, was held. This very year its religious center was registered in Vinnitsa. This is the only religious confession in the Ukraine whose center is not in the capital of the state. The main cult of this religion is belief in idol Dazhbog.

The symbol of Dazhbog's banner is the Sun with the trident in the center.

The adherents of Native Belief use holy figures of great spirits- Veles, Perun, Swarog and prophets of the Ukraine - Lesya Ukrayinka, Vasyl Stus, Taras Shevchenko.

According to the activists-ridnoviriv the population of the historical Podillya adopted Christianity later then the other regions of the Ukraine. The present Vinnytsya inhabitants insist on the necessity to renew the ancient religion of their fathers on these very grounds.

There are 4 religious communities of ridnovoriv with the total number of 200 persons. The old-Ukrainian religious teaching is spread by the Ukrainians patriots having higher education and looking for sources of the Ukrainian philosophy and people. That is why the adherents of this religion consider it to be elitist.

The religious center has no special quarters to conduct its religious ceremonies in Vinnitsa.
